Anodising

All of our anodised aluminium is finished with a satin anodised coating, available in film thicknesses of 20 or 25 microns. When properly maintained, anodised surfaces are designed to retain their appearance and integrity for at least 10 years.

To protect your joinery and meet warranty requirements, it’s important to follow a regular cleaning and maintenance routine. You can download the full Rodney Aluminium Care & Maintenance Guide below for detailed advice on how to care for your joinery.

Extruded Aluminium

All of our aluminium sections are produced using high-purity 6060-T5 aluminium alloy, supplied by trusted local extrusion specialists. After extrusion, the aluminium undergoes an aging process to ensure strength and stability before being used in our joinery.

These aluminium sections are manufactured to meet the 15-year durability requirements for external windows and doors, as outlined in the New Zealand Building Code.

Powder Coating

Our standard powdercoat colours come with a 10-year warranty against fading and chalking.

For enhanced durability, higher-performance powdercoat options are available upon request and made to order.

Warranties apply to Omega windows and doors supplied by Rodney Aluminium.
